00 Who we are

What surrounds us, shapes us.

Perivalon comes from the Greek word for environment, but it can also be read as what surrounds us. This is the story of why we started sharing.

01 Where it began

From a word for what surrounds us.

Perivalon has its origins from the Greek word meaning environment, but can also be interpreted to mean "what surrounds us".

Digital Perivalon is all about the digital world that surrounds us and how we interact with that world. In particular, how do we use the opportunities and technologies our Digital Environment (Digital Perivalon) provides to better our lives.

We created Digital Perivalon so that we can achieve the exchange of knowledge that has been gained over decades of working in environmental consultancy, project management, business ownership and just being technology and science geeks.

02 Why we share

A responsibility to pass it on.

We feel it is our responsibility to share what we have learnt in life to hopefully help someone to better theirs. Exchanging experiences, learnings and stories is such a great way to develop.

We are envious of not having the digital tools available today when we started our careers. There are a lot of learnings and experiences that were missed and not recorded simply because the fantastic tools we have today were not available then. However, the interactions and methodologies applied then are still applicable today.

We are hopeful as we travel on this learning journey together we will be able to make a small difference in your lives by making things easier through sharing what we know about Life, Knowledge and Productivity.

03 What we share

Everything we share stands on three ideas.

I LifeLiving well, deciding well, and staying steady through change. The human side of everything else. II KnowledgeStaying curious and learning for life. Understanding the world, and the tools that help us learn faster now. III ProductivityGetting meaningful things done with less friction. The methods that worked then, sharpened by the tools of now.
